CamDo offer a range of power solutions to improve the performance of GoPro cameras. These include batteries, battery eliminators and solar options.
BATTERIES
Most batteries in the market have an automatic power saving feature which turns off the battery when a camera is charged. CamDo offer suitable batteries for operating GoPro cameras for extended lengths of time and can be used in an ALWAYS ON mode to avoid shutting down. Under normal circumstances, the GoPro battery will last for one to two hours of shooting
- CamDo V15 battery has 4 TIMES the life of a standard GoPro Battery.
- CamDo V50 47Wh battery has 12 TIMES the life of a standard GoPro battery.
GoPro batteries are also a source of heat in the camera so these external batteries have a major advantage of reducing the risk of the cameras overheating. Also compatible with Back-Bone Ribcage modified cameras.

SOLAR
If your Camdo BLINK time lapse project is going to run for an extended period of time, is hard to access, and has no access to an external power source batteries can be recharged using solar power. CamDo offer a 9 watt solar panel solution fitted to their CamDo SOLAR X dry enclosure. Up to two solar panels can be fitted to a CamDo DryX enclosure.
