Watec
Watec offer a wide variety of CS-mount cameras including the NEW low cost WAT2200 CS-mount miniature camera measuring just 48 x 48 x57mm. The Watec WAT 2200 camera has 3G-SDI and HD-SDI output, is sensitive down to 0.1 lux @ F1.2 and incorporates a connection for an auto iris lens drive.
SeeSense GEM
The GEM is a superb compact CS-mount camera producing 1080i or 1080p with 3G-SDI or HD-SDI output at 60fps. It is also one of the smallest we have tested successfully for Broadcast use (29 x 29 x 29mm)
Ribcage Modified cameras
SeeSense distribute Back-Bone's beautiful range of Ribcage modified GoPro, Sony DSC-RX0 and Xiaomi Yi4K cameras and modification kits. The RIbcage modification enables these "fixed lens" systems to be fitted with a wide range of interchangeable lenses including CS-mount, C-mount and S-mount (M12).

In order to provide a comprehensive range of useful HD cameras, SeeSense offer a range of HD CS-mount and also modify cameras to accept CS-mount lenses.
The advantage of CS-mount cameras is the fact that there are many more high quality, low cost lens including some superb wide angle lenses. These are often manufactured for the security / surveillance industry for use with megapixel IP cameras. The volume of lenses sold give an advantage of economies of scale providing superb value for money. These lenses also tend to be of smaller and lighter construction than equivalent C-mount lenses making them ideal for minicam use.

Why offer a CS-mount camera for Professional Broadcast (AND OTHER applications)?
When using miniature cameras in Professional Broadcast, customers often request lenses with a wide angle of view. There are very few high quality high definition wide angle C-mount lenses available. However there is a much broader selection of wide angle CS-mount lenses available. CS-mount cameras are also more flexible, accepting C-mount lenses by using a low cost 5mm CS-C mount adapter.
We have many years experience sourcing, specifying and supplying C, CS and S-mount (M12) lenses dealing directly with lens manufacturers to find the very best quality lenses for our camera range and customers' requirements.
